1. In these terms and conditions an "Employer" means a person or company that employs or seeks to employ a care worker, through the services of SNAP16+and an "Employee" means a care worker introduced by SNAP16+
2. SNAP16+ is an introductory service only. Any contract of employment will be entered into between the Employer and Employee. Our involvement in any contract is in an advisory capacity only.
3. SNAP16+ will invoice the Employer when an Employee has accepted the position offered and not on the first day of employment. Agency fees are payable within 14 days of date of invoice. Late payment will be subject to a surcharge of 5% over base rare per annum.
4. In the following situation a cancellation fee of £300.00 + VAT (or £600.00 for positions abroad), will be applicable: If SNAP16+ has identified suitable candidate(s) based on the information provided about the position and details of those candidates have been sent to the Employer, but the Employer has changed the details have changed to such an extent that the identified candidate(s) is/are no longer suitable for the position. This also includes a complete withdrawal of the position. The cancellation fee paid will be deducted from any subsequent permanent placement.
5. Should an Employee's temporary or part-time position be extended the Employer shall notify SNAP16+ in writing within 7 days of any such change, and be liable to pay any additional fee commensurate with the additional employment.
6. All information that is passed by SNAP16+ in the course of an introduction shall be treated as confidential by the Employer, such information to include (but not be limited to) C.V.'s, addresses, the fact of introduction, and all other personal details.
7. Where an Employer has requested the services of SNAP16+, they are deemed to have accepted these terms & conditions
8. No Employer who has received information from SNAP16+about a proposed Employee shall introduce that Employee to any third party other than through SNAP16+. If an introduction is made contrary to this condition the Employer shall be liable to SNAP16+ for the full extent of the fee payable had the introduction been made by SNAP16+. Such liability for payment shall be in addition to any other fees payable by the Employer.
9. Whilst SNAP16+ makes every reasonable effort to ensure the suitability of Employees, we cannot accept responsibility for loss, damage or personal injury arising out of any introduction, nor give any warranty concerning history, character, age or capability.
10. If a position is offered to & accepted by the employee, but then subsequently withdrawn by the employer or the details of the position have changed so as to make the position untenable, the employer will be liable to pay the full placement fee.
11. If a permanent employee is requested, & the employer accepts a temporary employee until a permanent candidate is identified, 50% of the temporary fee paid will be deducted from any subsequent permanent fee.

Agency Guarantee
SNAP16+ offers a replacement guarantee period. Should a placement not work out during this time, we will endeavour find a replacement within two weeks of receiving written confirmation of termination of employment. (This guarantee is dependent upon the conditions of refund being adhered to, as listed in below).
Should no replacement be available, SNAP16+ will issue a credit note / refund at their discretion as follows:
Up to 2 months: 75%
2 to 3 months: 45%
3 to 4 months: 20%
Conditions of Credit
Our guarantee does not apply if one or more of the following conditions are applicable: (Please note, no more than two replacements will be made).
SNAP16+ has not received written notification of the termination of employment within five working days of the agency being initially informed.
The placement fee due has not been paid in full within 14 days of date of invoice.
Suitable replacement(s) are unreasonably refused within the 2-week replacement period or you longer wish to recruit anyone.
Another agency or other source is used during the 2-week replacement period.
The Employee has left because of unreasonable conditions
The job description has changed or the contract has been breached.
Our Terms and Conditions have not been adhered to.
